The Kuangya VFL001 is a Type A RCCB designed to detect sinusoidal AC and pulsating DC residual currents, providing reliable protection against electric shock and electrical fires. It also supports Type AC operation for AC-only applications. With 2P/4P configurations, rated current from 16A to 100A, and sensitivities of 10/30/100/300 mA, VFL001 fits residential, commercial and light industrial distribution boards. How it works

When the residual current exceeds the preset threshold (IΔn), the internal toroidal sensor and trip unit of this tipo a rccb actuate the mechanism to disconnect the circuit within the specified breaking time. Short-time delay (ASi/G/KV) and selective (S) characteristics are available to coordinate with upstream/downstream devices and reduce nuisance tripping.

Installation & Selection Guide

1. Select the pole number (2P/4P) according to system voltage: 240 V~ (single-phase) or 415 V~ (three-phase).
2. Escolha IΔn by application: 10/30 mA for personal protection; 100/300 mA for fire protection/selectivity.
3. For high inrush or EMC-sensitive loads, consider short-time delay (ASi/G/KV) or Selective S types.
4. Coordinate with upstream SCPD to meet Inc = IΔc 6 kA / 10 kA requirements.
5. Observe ambient limits (−25…+55 °C, daily avg ≤35 °C) and torque settings (2.5 N·m).
