The Kuangya KYSPD-12.5T1+2-1+1 is a type 1+2 surge protective device N–PE,
specially designed for single-phase 230 V AC TN and TT systems.
It provides coordinated lightning current and surge protection using a 1+1 topology:
MOV between L–N and a gas discharge tube (GDT) between N–PE.This design ensures robust discharge of direct lightning currents (10/350 μs)
while limiting switching surges (8/20 μs), offering comprehensive protection
for residential, commercial, and industrial distribution boards. Its pluggable
module design enables simple replacement, while integrated thermal disconnector
and visual status indication enhance safety. Optional RC signaling contacts
are available for remote monitoring.
